TBS Editorial Board gets training on CMS

The Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) Editorial Board has been urged to be innovative for the development of the Website.

Presenting a paper in a two days workshop on Content Management System (CMS) in Bagamoyo, over the week end, the resource person, Charles Macha said, the Editorial Board should be more responsible and accountable for the development of the website.

"You need to put more efforts in improving the Website. l know it is easy to launch a website but the majority fail to maintain it due to lack of knowledge on content Management System," Macha explained

He said the the current World websites are for the public use, therefore, all necessary information about the organization should be displayed accordingly.

TBS website was launched in January 2007 by the TBS Executive Council, Chairperson, Professor Apollinaria Pereka, since then the Website display various events and activities done by the organization.

Among other things Content Management System assists in developing, controlling and managing all contents of the website.
